History Uncorked: we are puget sound
Thursday, April 23 | 7:00 PM
At this Kitsap History Museum Uncorked event, we are honored to welcome two powerful voices in regional stewardship and treaty rights. Dr. Mindy Roberts, Executive Director of the Puget Sound Partnership and co-author of We Are Puget Sound, will be joined by Vice Chairman of the Suquamish Tribe Josh Bagley, Policy Liaison for the Suquamish Tribe’s Treaty Rights Protection Division. Together, they will explore the roles and responsibilities embedded in treaties across the Puget Sound, offering both policy and lived perspectives. Their conversation will invite attendees to reflect on the idea that we are all treaty people; each of us connected to and accountable for upholding these agreements and the health of the lands and waters they protect.
